About Jensen Gilligan- Founder

I’m a results-driven Strength & Conditioning Coach with over 7 years of experience helping athletes at every level unlock their full potential. With a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Alabama and advanced education in Strength and Conditioning from the United States Sports Academy, I bring a science-backed, performance-first approach to every training program.

​

Over the years, I’ve worked with a diverse group of athletes—from professionals in the NBA and NFL to high school and middle school standouts. My areas of focus include sprint mechanics, explosive power, strength development, and total performance optimization. Whether I’m preparing a pro for their next season or laying a strong foundation for a young athlete, my coaching philosophy is simple: train with purpose, measure results, and build confidence through consistency.

At Gilligan Sports Performance, we combine elite-level programming with personalized coaching to ensure every athlete reaches their peak. My approach emphasizes proper technique, injury prevention, and the mental toughness needed to succeed on and off the field.
